Arte em Agosto

Where culture, creativity, and flavor come together for one night

Join us Tuesday, August 18th from 4 to 8 PM for our second annual Arte em Agosto. We're celebrating art in many forms this year, with an exhibit featuring work by Nellie, Julia, Sydney, Brit, and Lis. All artwork will be available for purchase.

We've always been supporters of artists and their art. Since the beginning, our resident artist Magda León has told the story of the beauty and hardship of the immigrant through the paintings on our walls.

With Arte em Agosto, we want to continue to give other artists the space to speak to the stories and ideas that matter to them. A safe space to share, to buy art that speaks to you, and to enjoy the night with good drinks and good company.

Tacos Three Ways

Sautéed Shrimp with Yellow and Red Pepper, Pork Carnitas with Orange and Black Pepper, or Roasted Poblano with Corn and Sour Cream. All three served with Pickled Onion, Salsa Verde and lime.

Plantain Cups

Plantain Cups filled with your choice of Shrimp, Bacalhau, or Vegetables, each seasoned and served with their own accompaniments of Chipotle Aioli, Salsa Verde, Avocado and Pickled Onion.

Cactus Salad

Fresh Cactus, Red Onion, Cilantro, Tomato, Lemon, Salt and Pepper, finished with crumbled Queso. Served with fresh Tortilla Chips.
